Florence is the capital of the Tuscany region, a city with many art museums and Renaissance architecture. In fact, in the Middle Ages it was an important artistic and cultural center and was proclaimed capital of the Kingdom of Italy in 1865. Today considered the place of origin of the Renaissance and thanks to its numerous monuments and museums is renowned as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and recognized as a city of art. The heart of the city of Florence is Piazza della Signoria, where you can admire the Palazzo Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery, one of the most important art museums in the world. The Tuscany region is surrounded by the Apennines, but is predominantly hilly, washed by two seas. Ligurian Sea, Tyrrhenian Sea, and is characterized by a perfect climate especially for its vineyards, especially in the Chianti area where one of the most renowned Italian Red wine is produced.
