Furore and its Fjord
The color of the deep sea and the surrounding wild vegetation are the backdrop to the small beach of Furore, known above all for its suggestive Fjord which, every year, becomes the destination of the greatest divers in the world. Furore is one of the most suggestive villages of the Amalfi Coast.
Furore Is UNESCO heritage and part of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
Furore was founded by Roman families who fled to the Lattari mountains to escape the vandalic hordes, giving birth to Scala and Ravello and, subsequently, on the Amalfi Coast, Atrani and Furore. Thanks to its particular geographical conformation, Furore remained a stronghold that could not be attacked even during the Saracen invasions.
