Nettuno
In the City of Rome Capital, there is the town of Nettuno, overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. Even today, under the city of Nettuno, there are several tunnels built during the Second World War, by the inhabitants of Nettuno to shelter themselves from the bombings. One of the main activities in Neptune, is the tourism, in fact in the summer the city is filled with tourists who come from all the neighboring cities such as Rome, but it is also visited by American tourists to admire the part of Neptune surrounded by a medieval wall, and visit the cemetery of the fallen Americans during the Second World War. Anzio and Nettuno, were the two cities of the coastal strip, to have an influx of landings by the allied armies. January 22nd 1944.
