Raito
Raito is a small sailor village of Vietri sul Mare, located on a hill of the Amalfi coast. Legend has it that the origins of the name of Raito, from the Latin RAGITUS. It means a place kissed by the sun, in fact in Raito there is the sun from sunrise to sunset. One of the monuments of considerable importance is Villa Guariglia, which was the noble residence of the Guariglia family. In this villa, a television fiction, named Capri, was shot. Thanks to its position on the Amalfi coast, to the land rich in minerals, and to the sun that kisses Raito. Today Raito is also a producer of quality wines, with the vineyards of Raito producing wines with classic grapes of the Campania region, such as: Aglianico and Piedirosso.
