Rome is the capital of Italy and chief town of the Lazio region. Rome is also the heart of Catholic Christianity, in fact within the city there is an entire State, the enclave of the Vatican city. Rome over the centuries has accumulated a vast quantity and quality of museums of culture, art and sculpture: Starting from the Vatican Museums, Capitoline Museums, Galleria Borghese, and others.
