Vietri sul mare
Vietri sul Mare is a town in the province of Salerno.
Vietri is also referred to as the first pearl of the Amalfi coast in fact it extends along the coast and has a small fishing village.
One of the historic activities and still alive today among the inhabitants of Vietri Sul Mare is the art of ceramics, today known throughout the world as the Vietri ceramics.
The symbol of the ceramics of Vietri is the CIUCCIARIELLO ( Donkey ), used for the transport of building materials, in agriculture, used to move between a fraction to another.
