Wine Tour in Amalfi Coast
Simphony of colors, flavors and fragrance
In recent decades, in the hills area of the Amalfi Coast, have been born a few wineries -bringing back to life a centuries-old tradition- that make Wine. Especially in the village of Tramonti. A village of the Amalfi coast located at 650 meters above sea level. The wine in this area is particularly delicate, thanks to the climate, the soil fertilized by the ashes of the Mount Vesuvius and the passion that farmers have for years engaged in preserving the vines of grapes. In fact in our day tour, you will see some very ancient grape vines, the wines that are produced in Tramonti, are: White, Red and Rosé, with different quality of grapes, like Biancolella, Tintore, Falanghina and Piede di Palumbo wine made with grapes. Tintore, is a particular wine of high gradation, very indicated for meat meals, vegetables, meats, cheeses and is a wine that you can found only in this area of the Amalfi Coast.
Our tour in the winery, will be to walk in the vineyards and you will see these age-old grape vines, there will be explained the process of how to take care of the plants, to get a better result every year, they will show you how the wine is bottled, they will show the barrels they use depending on the grapes, you will see the centuries-old wine cellar dug out of the rock.
We specify that the wineries of this village, are familiar, no industries. This day for you will be an unforgettable day. Spend a day with the locals people, you will be part of their family, you will see how the ladies cook and what to prepare for your lunch. You will taste only local products, taste wines (wine lunch without limits). This tour I call a family day, trust us.
